Carbon Makeover team visit schools

The Carbon Makeover team from Knowle West Media Centre are visiting local primary schools to find enthusiastic families to get involved in this exciting new project.
The team are looking for 100 families or households to be part of the year-long project, which will be launched in late autumn. The families will be supported in making changes to their homes and lifestyles looking at the different themes of climate change, for example, shopping locally or saving energy (and money!) There will be fun events throughout the year for families to attend.
As part of the project, KWMC are also looking for 10 local adults to run campaigns on local issues that matter to them, for example, disposal of nappies or re-using carrier bags.
If you think your family can help save the environment, please contact Misty or Maddie on 9030444 or MistyNOSPAM@KWMC.org.uk
