Knowle West Media Centre

Photography Project: Greenfield Primary School

A Portrait of Bristol - ‘Our City’
Young people from Year 6 at Greenfield Primary School participated in a week-long photography project with Knowle West Media Centre to produce images of the City of Bristol for their school.

The young people worked with Knowle West Media Centre and photographer Martin Edwards over two workshops to learn key photographic skills including: lens control, perspective, framing, and composition.

The young people then spent a day in the centre of Bristol, with cameras provided by Knowle West Media Centre, exploring and photographing key city landmarks and buildings.

The fantastic images are now hanging proudly in the school and a special opening preview of the exhibition will take place in April.
