KWMC receives Arts Council England funding

Conference 14 (Gina Lundy)

We are thrilled to announce that we have been awarded three years’ funding from Arts Council England, beginning in April 2012, as part of their new National Portfolio.

As an organisation that has not previously received regular funding, we are delighted that the value of, and need for, our work has been recognised. We are also pleased to see the Arts Council’s commitment to supporting digital arts practice in the National Portfolio.

During these difficult economic times, we are aware of the challenges that may lie ahead but the receipt of this National Portfolio funding will enable us to continue and expand our work: delivering the Arts Council England vision of ‘Achieving great art for everyone’ and supporting communities, within and beyond Bristol, to access the benefits of engaging in arts and media activities.
