Knowle West Media Centre spent the day at Bridge Learning Campus Inset Day to promote the Education and Learning Programme 2013 and give teachers and students an insight into the projects, courses and workshops on offer at KWMC.
Attendees could play around with some of the KWMC technology including Mac Books, sound recording equipment, cameras and software such as Garageband, iMovie, photoshop and Comic Life.
The Bridge Learning Campus After School Media Club from year 7, which is run by KWMC, were also present to screen their short films and animations.
Please get in touch with the education team if you would like to find out more about CPD and INSET Day or KWMC After School Media Clubs.

Testimonials
"The team at KWMC are always extremely enthusiastic and knowledgable and bring technical skills and ideas which mean that our students learn and develop in ways that wouldn’t be possible in the school setting.”
Art Teacher, St Mary Redcliffe & Temple School
"It's a wonderful thing .... to share practice, we don’t get much time to do this and ... a forum where we could meet and chat about the common issues and successes and things that work."
"I learnt how to use the Mac computers and how to take proper pictures. I liked that the project was set out of school and that I got the chance to meet professional photographers."
