Matthew Olden
Artist in residence Matthew Olden has been making little computer people. His playmates have specific task to complete, but occasionally their artist friend Julia turns up encouraging them to give up their tasks to make art, expressing themselves through making music pictures and poetry.
In November 2010 he gave a talk at KWMC, meditating on what it is to be a computer, taking in chaos, artificial stupidity, feedback, memes, maps, the death of the author and devolutionary programming.
