Knowle West Media Centre

Summer Programme 2009

Kites

Knowle West Media Centre's Summer Programme was a fortnight of interactive workshops for young people aged 10 to 16.

Between Monday 3rd August and Friday 14th August KWMC was bustling with excitement and energy as around 40 young people came each day to experience a variety of workshops, ranging from digital and media-based activities to arts, crafts and animation.

On Friday 14th August KWMC marked the end of the activities with a Summer Celebration.

Queen's Award

KWMC provides a secure and supportive environment in which young people can learn new skills, become more active in their communities, challenge negative perceptions and contribute to regeneration. Young people are involved in decision-making at all levels.

All young people wanting to join our groups must enrol in an e-safety induction course. Following successful attendance, you will be issued with a membership card.
