What's Happening?

• Opportunity: Freelance Digital Media Storytelling Facilitator
Watershed and Knowle West Media Centre are looking for a creative storyteller with digital media skills, to support the planning and delivery of digital storytelling workshops with a group of ex-railway workers and ex-railway workers' families. Closing date: 5pm on Tuesday 31 January 2012.

• Creative Writing Classes
Beginning in January 2012, KWMC will be hosting creative writing classes, run by independent practitioners.

Would you like to cut your bills and make your home more eco-friendly? We're looking for 40 Knowle West residents to take part in our exciting new 3-E Houses project.

• KWMC volunteer wins vInspired award
KWMC volunteer Ben Doyle has changed his life and the lives of others through volunteering.

• Young people from KWMC collected a 'Special Recognition Award for Outstanding Contribution' from Electric December at Watershed in November 2011.

• HRH The Earl of Wessex visits KWMC
We were delighted to welcome His Royal Highness The Earl of Wessex to KWMC in October 2011.

• KWMC receives Arts Council England funding
KWMC has received three years’ funding from Arts Council England, beginning in April 2012, as part of the new National Portfolio.
